    Jews Maintained Ethnic Identity Without Their Language Through Centuries Since Jesus Came

    Despite the Jews having been scattered into many other nations after Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70 a. d., and despite the fact that their ancient hebrew language was lost during their dispersion for almost two thousand years, they have maintained their ethnic heritage by their identification of a Jew as one whose mother is a Jew, which is why Jews as always tell their sons to “go find a nice jewish girl.”
