The new (sure-to-be-a-hit) movie, Year One, opening June 19, 2009, which mocks the Genesis account in the Bible, starring hollywood funnyman Jack Black, but puzzlingly to mainstream scientists, depicts primitive hunter-gatherers (Jack Black as Zed and Michael Cera as Oh) visiting megalithic cities, with palaces, citadels, and fortress walls, like those of Mycenae and Tiryns of ancient Greece, and Hattusas and Catal Huyuk of Turkey (the ancient Hittites), built of huge “cyclopean”  (by giants) sculpted stone blocks, hewn to fit perfectly when placed together, forming massive impregnable walls which even resisted big earthquakes, but back during the times of Cain and Abel (sons of Adam and Eve) in the Bible?  This is how they chose to handle the historicity of the story, as apparently unknown to them (and their goal to discredit the Bible,), they are painting it much as it really was, even then before the Deluge, as Tubal Cain was a famous metallurgist before the Flood, with sophistacted skills no doubt to have built megalithic structures like those ancient cyclopean structures of the Greeks and Hittites, as well as, of the Antisuyos (named after Anteus, son of Sidon) of the high Andes at Machu Pichu for instance.

Such megalithic building on a broad scale is thought by mainstream scientists to have been ongoing in the 2000 BC. timeframe, certainly not wayback in the “times of the hunter gatherers,” back in the “stone age,” but Black, and writer/director Harold Ramis, and producer Judd Apatow actually have it right, with such building too before the Deluge, which Black says he’d like to mock in another production, as with Moses, and other characters of the sacred Old Testament, such attention which only causes people to investigate the claims of the Bible more closely, as at this website.

The most ancient of the Greeks, in the times of Atlantis (named after Sidon’s son Atlas), are said to have been the Pelasgians (sons of Peleg), who are credited to have built the most ancient megalithic structures there, many of which are now submerged off the coasts of Melos, Elafonisos, Abdera, Platygiali, Astakos, and Samos (among other locations), as there are ruins submerged off Morocco and Spain, in the shadow of the Atlas Mountains, of Atlantis, which were inundated by the sea circa 1500 B.C., when the Ice Age ended, the engine for which had been the warmer oceans (for more evaporation) in the aftermath of Noah’s Flood, the Ark of Noah which was surveyed by the method described in article #2 at http://IceAgeCivilizations.com; a great subject for Black’s next movie.

And to know that all of the Bible except the six days of creation were recorded by contemporaneous human eyewitnesses, checkout article #13 at http://GenesisVeracity.com, to see that there really is no good reason to laugh at the history written in Genesis, the foundational book of the Bible.
