    Maria Elena Whishaw in Her Helpful Book Atlantis in Spain Cites Plato’s Geography Without Realizing It

    Pioneering author on Atlantis, almost a hundred years ago, Maria Elena Whishaw in her classic book Atlantis in Spain, outlined the cultural and archaeological connections of the ancient Libyans and Moroccans to the inhabitants of southern Spain, with much impressive evidence, not having realized though that her geography jibes with Plato’s description of Atlantis (that greater Atlantis extended to Libya), this detail (and that Atlantis was bronze age) having escaped her.
