Consider the slowly wobbling (72 years/degree) axis of the earth, and now imagine the line of that axis extended into the heavens in both directions, north and south, tracing circles above and below the two poles on what appears to be the celestial sphere, the sphere above and around the sphere of the earth, this was the template used by the ancients to measure the earth, archaic global positioning by the stars, measuring time, precession (earth wobble) time, for accurate longitude measures, the means by which those astute navigators determined the positions of the poles within a 0.5% degree of accuracy, reflected in the anonamously accurate Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings, recored and analyzed by Charles Hapgood.

Medieval scottish nobleman Henry Sinclair, way back in 1398 (almost a hundred years before Columbus), commissioned knowlegable and wealthy italian navigator Nicolo Zeno (whom Sinclair rescued from locals attacking him shipwrecked on the scottish shore) to guide him across the Atlantic, presumably to stash the Holy Grail (last supper drinking goblet) on Oak Island, Nova Scotia (New Scotland), fleeing from the crackdown by the catholic church against the Templars, sailing with Zeno, who knew how to get there, to the ancient mining district of southern Nova Scotia, also known as Norumbega or Oranbega, which is scottish gaelic means Song of Bega, who was a scottish catholic saint from the 6th century, who perhaps had sailed previously across the Atlantic too, probably with the type of map used by Sinclair and Zeno, and St. Brendan the Navigator of Ireland (reputed to have sailed to the Americas for many years).

The Sinclair clan built Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland on an ancient bronze age site.  There in the basement vault chamber, etched in a rock wall, is a navigational teaching board, revealing the ancients’ mastery of longitude and latitude measures, achievable only by measuring time, by the earth’s wobble rate anciently, the geometric methodology simply described in article #2 at http://IceAgeCivilizations.com, today achieved by measuring solar transit time for our nautical mile mapping system, by geometry, which means earth measure.  Google Etchings in Stonework at Rosslyn Ashley Cowie, to read more that Sinclair may have owned some of the ancient precession maps himself, or used Zeno’s, which shows Greenland, Iceland, and Nova Scotia, right where they’re supposed to be, the proper east to west distances from each other, impossible to have been measured back then but by the slow rate of the earth’s wobble.
