    Johnson Amendment Repeal in Tax Reform Bill so Pastors Will Have Onus of Benefit Cost Analysis

    Repeal of the Johnson Amendment (which prohibits pastors’ advocation of political candidates) is in the tax-bill planning now ongoing in Congress, advocated by Trump, yet some say such would cause opinionated pastors to only advocate political candidates from the pulpit, but of course that would turn-off almost all congregations, so the proportion of the preaching political would be according to the discretion of the respective church leaders.
